ACCESSORIES
RETSCH sieve shakers can be equipped with a variety of accessories to meet a wide range of application requirements.

Cyclone with holder and collecting receptable
To extend the service life of the filters in the vacuum cleaner and for recovery of the sample fraction passing the sieve, we recommend the use of the optional cyclone. The separation degree and limiting particle size respectively depend on the sample characteristics.
Test sieves 10 μm and up
RETSCH test sieves consist of a solid stainless steel sieve frame of high stability for reliable sieving results. Paying close attention to mesh-specific requirements, the fabric of each test sieve is precisely joined into the frame and tautened.

EASYSIEVE / CFR EVALUATION SOFTWARE
EasySieve, the software for particle size analyses, exceeds manual evaluation in many aspects. The software is able to automatically control the necessary measurement and weighing procedures – from the registration of the weight of the sieve up to the evaluation of the data. It is simple and convenient to use and is also available in an FDA 21 CFR Part 11-conform version.

TYPICAL SAMPLE MATERIALS
Vibratory sieve shakers are frequently used for grain size analysis of cement clinker, chemicals, coffee, construction materials, fertilizers, fillers, flours, grains, metals powders, minerals, nuts, plastics, sand, seeds, soils, washing powder, etc.

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPAL
The AS 200 jet is equipped with a rotating slotted nozzle. The sieve and lid are placed above the nozzle. A vacuum generates a strong jet of air which disperses the particles on the sieve through the slotted nozzle. The material which is smaller than the mesh size of the sieve is transported by the back flow of the air to the cyclone or to the vacuum cleaner. The air jet helps to deagglomerate the particles and constantly purges the sieve mesh.
